1. What BoreMe does
BoreMe is a digital wellbeing and focus app for Android. It can act as a launcher, show overlays, help you organize distracting apps, track sessions, support premium subscriptions, and show ads in the free version.
2. Information we collect
- Device and app identifiers. BoreMe creates an app-specific device ID and may store authentication tokens needed to connect your device to BoreMe services.
- App setup and preferences. This includes language, theme, selected favorites, hidden apps, onboarding choices, quote preferences, subscription state, and similar app settings.
- Installed app metadata. BoreMe may read installed app names, package IDs, and launcher-visible app information so it can show your apps, favorites, hidden apps, and related controls inside BoreMe.
- Usage statistics. If you grant Android usage access, BoreMe may collect usage summary data such as total time used, top apps, and app usage minutes over a selected period.
- Session and activity data. When you start focus sessions or use stats features, BoreMe may store session timing, selected apps, and productivity summary information.
- Account data if you choose sign-in. If you sign in with Google or link a Firebase-authenticated account, BoreMe may receive your Firebase user ID and email address.
- Purchase and subscription data. If you buy Premium through Google Play, BoreMe may process subscription product IDs, purchase tokens, verification status, and entitlement dates.
- Feedback you submit. If you contact us through the app, we collect your message and any screenshot you choose to attach.
- Advertising and monetization metrics. BoreMe may record ad-related events such as ad opens, reward starts, reward completions, and experiment variants.
- Technical request data. Our backend may receive information such as IP address, timestamps, and basic request metadata for security, fraud prevention, and service operations.
- Website analytics. BoreMe uses Google Analytics on boreme.in to understand page views, traffic sources, device/browser information, and basic website interactions so we can improve the website and app experience.
3. Information we do not intentionally collect
BoreMe is not designed to read your private messages, contacts, call logs, precise location, microphone audio, or the contents of your personal photos for normal app use.
4. How we use information
- To provide BoreMe features, including launcher, session, stats, and app organization features.

- To improve the product over time.
- To understand website traffic and improve BoreMe pages, content, and launch communications.
5. Permissions and device access
BoreMe may request Android permissions or system access such as:

We keep data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no system is completely secure. You should also protect access to your device and Google account.
9. Children's privacy
BoreMe is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to BoreMe, contact us so we can review and delete it.
